Peer Supporter Speciality: Disability

Sara has lived with disability in the form of Cerebral Palsy her whole life and knows the mental health challenges that can come from that all too well.

Sara has professional qualifications in Social Work & Peer Support and has undertaken training in suicide prevention, mental health and trauma awareness, among others.

Sara’s professional experience includes 10+ years working across the disability and mental health sectors in Australia with people of all ages, from primary school students to older adults, and all in between, both individually and in group settings, in person and online.

Luna (she/ her) & Evie (she/her)

(Animal Assistants)

Luna (right) is a (not quite) 10 year old shih tzhou x maltese who has been with Sara since she was young and has unofficially trained to provide support.

Evie (left) is a shih tzhou x chihuahua who is around a year old and still learning a lot!

Luna & Evie work with Sara. They star on our socials to assist with illustrating concepts, or you might even be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of them during a support session with Sara.
